J1 Work and Travel visa

US Embassy requirements.

Under the Summer Work/Travel program, foreign post-secondary students have an opportunity to become directly involved in the daily life of the people of the United States through travel and temporary work for a period up to four months during their summer vacation.

Students who do OKJ trainings do not qualify for Summer Work/Travel Program.
The Department of State designates U.S. organizations to administer exchange visitor programs. These organizations are referred to as sponsors.
